More times than not it is more about fitting the puzzle pieces together.
Bought an 80 about a month ago that laid next to another 80, that bought in 2010 that was landlocked. Had to use a 1/2 mile of field road to get too it. The 80 bought in 10 was sold @ a discount due to logistics. 80 bought month ago gets it unlandlocked and probably adds $1500- $2000 acre to the value of the first 80. Now have a 160 with mile long rows with road frontage.
Own 620 acres that is one chunk which started out with a 40 acre purchase 40 years ago, over the years have been able to purchase the 580 acres that join it.
