You might want to met a guy who hasn't harvested or planted in mud in 30 years on 45% clay and 45% silt soil in Northern NY. Oh ya he farms, wise guy!

Tod finished third in the US in non-irrigated corn for silage yield competition conducted by Golden Harvest in 2014. He was not anticipating entry either. In fact he eliminated in-furrow pop-up for the first time since 1984. ClassIV real estate that consistently averages nearly twice the county corn silage average for all soils, most of which are ClassII or better.
