The Foothills of Mount Trashmore ECIL | I spend a decent amount of time in the fields about 30 miles south of you, and in the grand scheme of things, I saw essentially zero rootworm adults this year. That being said, I personally wouldn't take the risk of going without an insecticide on conventional hybrids. I have splattered more corn bore moths in the last couple years with my truck than in years previous. I can't really say that I have seen an uptick in them while walking fields but just a quick observation while washing my black truck every week or two. |
