Paul, we have taken out about 115 acres of pasture/CRP in the last 5 years. Both farms, first crop planted was beans. We didn't treat these fields any differently than the others and had decent beans the first year. No noticeable stand loss from early season bugs or any noticeable problems with anything related to pasture/CRP.
