southern MN | iBook is a piece of software included or downloadable from Apple on most iPads and newer mac computers.
So, is the trouble on an iPad tablet, or on a real computer?
Mac doesn't have a lot of trouble with viruses, especially their tablets the iPads. For simplistic sake, I'll say they built the iPad operating system with individual compartments the programs run in, so if something bad gets loose in them, it is confined to one program and easy for Apple to get rid of.
So, what machine is she running on, and what are the problems?
If its an iPad, does she know how to close all the programs (double tap the one button and flick away each program in the list).
And does she shut down the iPad every week or so (hold down the power button on the edge corner for a few seconds, and then flick the screen to shut down, and wait for the very faint timer to spin down off).
Over time the programs that remain open gunk up the tablet, and create messes that just overload the meory and such. Doing those 2 things is simple house cleaning that doesn't hurt anything.
Doing those two things on an iOS Apple device every week or so will clear up most of the problems one runs into.
If we have more info, we can look into it more beyond that.
