Midwest | QuickBooks Pro is the gold standard. I would recommend going through set up just to become more familiar with it. As long as your Dec 31 numbers in your money accounts are accurate then start entering for the new year and never look back. You may want to visit with your accountant on how he prefers to have the chart of accounts. If you are looking for cost per acre/bushel then farmworks may be a better choice. finding that number can get a little tedious but is a good one to know. As far as quicken vs quickbooks. I would go with quickbooks due to more accounting detail that quickbooks offers.
