No spreader. I'm not big on spreaders. I'm not sure there is even a spreader made that would work well with a 54 ft bin.
My experience is if you pull the center a few times as you are filling the bin and then pull the center after the bin is full you will not have storage issues. We also fill the bin with a conveyor. Conveyors are much gentler on corn than downspouts especially with the variable rate flow of corn coming out of a dryer. Downspouts are made to run full. We maxed out the height and bu. capacity of the bin with the conveyor and grain leg. This worked for us because we needed all the storage we could get out of the 54 ft bin, but you have to use what will work for you.
Are you considering a side loadout?
I should add you are more than welcome to come up and check out the bin. I know you are in NW Illinois, but I am truly in NW Illinois. Our farm is on the stateline with Wisconsin and I'm less than 30 miles from Dubuque.
