Subject: RE: 8430 Front Duals: Bad Idea?

Did this on my 8120,never ever had any problem, neighbor also did it and was just fine. Really made a difference. You will have to adjust the pressure release set screw in on power steering valve to increase the pressure if u want it to turn easier on pavement when going slow or backing up,but otherwise not necessary even with full stack of weights. Jd dealer told me where it was to adjust, took very little, maybe a half turn, and about two minute job. Make sure to run half the air pressure on outside duels like they recommend.i run 12 and 24 like they recomended on the sticker they place on the duals. It definetly isnt as heavy as a 1500 axel, but after talking with a couple people that did it years ago and had over 4000hrs on them i decided to do it and very glad i did. Plus makes a huge difference in the ride. Good luck.
