live in Spfd, farm located NW Macoupin county | We have a tractor that has a current draw on it when the tractor is shut off that I have not been able to track down. Always had to unhook the battery or it would be dead when you came back to use it. That was such a pain. Last spring I put a disconnect in the negative side and problem is solved.
Put the disconnect in the NEGATIVE side of the circuit, i.e. the ground cable to the battery. This is for 2 reasons; 1 ) The current will not leave the battery if it cannot get back home. 2) You have fewer connections to cause a drop in the current to the starter. |
