Subject: RE: Another bulk oil question

SW OH
I have Graco fireball pumps, Reelcraft reels, and Balcrank mechanical meters on my truck. I have a Yamada diagram pump for used oil. I don't think any of it is cheap. The pumps are good, but I have a lot of freezing problems on the air side when it gets down to 40 degrees and colder. I also have to replace the air valves now and then. Not running the pump to fast makes them last longer. The reels are cheaply made in my opinion. They do not hold up to outdoor weather at all. I like Graco and Balcrank better but Cox reels the best. I had a Graco electronic meter that never did work well. My reels have ½ inch hose but the meters have a ¼ inch fitting where the no drip end is so the ½ inch hose on the reel may be overkill. In warm weather I can pump 10 gallons of engine oil in probably less than 2 minutes. My reels have 50 feet of hose and there is about 25 from the pump to the reel.
