Southern Illinois | My opinion would be AgLeader primarily because of their across the board electronics offerings. Once you spend the money for a display you're going to be using it for a while. PP displays only have a couple of uses. With AgLeader you can see your investment for many many more things. You can add machinery controls over time as you see the need.
You can keep using your EZsteer and Trimble to provide GPS to the AgLeader screen. With AgLeader you can run hydraulic or electric drives, planter row clutches, have true row by row singulation monitoring with DJ type seed sensors, hydraulic downforce, control liquid or dry starter fert, control insecticide rates, ect. That's just on the planter. That same display can be used for spraying, fert spreading, air seeders, tile plow or Ditcher control, topographical mapping of your fields, guidance, autosteer, and yield monitoring. It also allows operating ISO BUS controllers. | |
