Hate to be the bearer of bad news but your receiver is likely failing and cannot be repaired, I have sent receivers to AgExpress with this same issue and they were unable to repair them. as I recall I was told the GPS engine is about 3/4 inch square and 1/8th inch thick and has 64 soldered connections.
