My big one just got away with 3 hrs on the down stairs people bed. She was just clipped too. But she was ready to go out. When in full winter coat they don't want to stay inside. Used to keep heated beds in the garage. Wouldn't use them. So heaters are gone. Have not found a bed that survives the "I need to destroy something" day. I sometimes wonder if a mouse got in a hole, as they don't do it very often. I have seen the snow pile in the front yard get up and shake off on snowy days when perfectly good dry beds are in the garage. They come in twice a day for food and inside friend time.
