Subject: RE: JD Autotrac in new T4b Magnum

Thanks. I believe ours is exactly the same as a 2012 Steiger. There were Tier III 2011 Steigers which were the older style and Tier IV 2011 Steigers which are the newer style. Ours is a Tier IV.

I am really excited to get this done. We used to have a Leica Mojo 3D for steering, two Raven 440's for strip tilling, a JD 2630 for the planter and a JD 2600 for the air cart being pulled behind the planter (if we ran them both on the 2630 the aircart took over as the primary and would not allow for split variety logging) as well as a scale head for the grain cart and a business band radio. We could not see out the right side of the cab and had two tractor harnesses wadded up to the right of the seat.

Now that we have added rate controllers to the strip till rig and are switching over to the autotrac controller and have Agrimatics Libra on the cart, we should be down to just the two JD displays, one tractor harness, the business band and occasionally an iPad. Cab clutter should be greatly reduced.
