My wife has been a dealer for the last year. Your not out much if it doesn't work out.

With that said, she didn't have much luck with craft sales. The money was made at regular party's/cooking shows.

It starts at a 20% commission, and only goes up if you sign up dealers under you. You have to sell so much a month to maintain your status, or it goes back to the start. They also made a change that you had to be a "director" to show up on the website as a local dealer. Since she was not, that stopped the calls from people looking for a local dealer.

She enjoyed it, that is what mattered to me. She has since gotten busy with other endeavors and backed off on this.

What really bugged me was they sent her a bunch of "free stuff" for meeting sales goals etc. and then they 1099'ed it at the end of the year. We had to pay tax on cell phone cases and things she never used.
