Yours looks better then most I have seen. Someone brought one to a pot luck last Sunday and there wasn't hardly any cake in the fruit cake. It was all candied green and red cherries and no way would I eat that. Yours looks like more nuts and raisins. I would try yours. Do you put brandy in yours? I remember my mom soaking a cloth in brandy and covering the bread.
