I dropped off my treager a month ago for some work on it that my dealer does for free if I pay for his parts. He had sold a traeger to a guy who had kept a 5 minute interval log on it for a 24 hr period and found it grossly unsatisfactory. So trager gave them the option of a new unit or a cash back refund. Then he bought a green mountain . When I picked up mine he was there with his 24 hour log again and was so unsatisfied he was telling my dealer he was a piece of garbage. I then offered to buy his green mountain as a gift for a friend whose trager rotted out. The guy claimed he could regulate the temperature better in his stick burner so I tried my offset stick burner and no matter what I did the temperature swings were greater THAN my pellet smokers--------------all I can say is I am glad there are people that anal in the world as well as have the time to prepare any meat on a smoker perfect at a perfect temparuture over a 24 hour period. I have other things to worry about
