Indiana | It's partially difficult to play because its not a popular instrument so as generations move on it becomes "lost" the great thing about the modern day we live in is that people that do take the time to learn how to play can share videos online. That being said its not really a way to learn to play the instrument due to tones, posture, technique, so on. Its a periodic instrument and they fade with time take for example the glass harmonica, theremin, ect. The upside is that people do try to pass this knowledge along, but I'd be willing to bet if you surveyed all Americans to see how many can play this instrument you'd be talking 1000-2000 people absolute maximum. | |
