Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Thanks for all the advice on buying an all in one color laser printer. On advice from you guys and online reviews, I bought a Brother MFC 9340, on sale for $350 at Staples.
I tried a few full page pictures on plain paper. Quality seems as good as my old Kodak 9750 ink jet printer and this thing is crazy fast compared to the Kodak.
My problem was that ink cartridges used to just dry out with little use, as It sometimes was 2 weeks between print jobs. The thing would also do a head cleaning every time I wanted to print after a week or more between print jobs, thus wasting ink and time.. The dry powder toner of the laser printers hould eliminate that problem.
I also like the 2 side scan / print feature.
