When you buy quickbooks in store you will be buying a box that looks like it has a cd in it, but it likely doesn't have a cd in it, just a license key and website link to download quickbooks. So you do not need a USB cd rom drive.
If it does come with a cd and you want to install it that way and you have another device with a cd rom drive; you can copy the ISO to a large enough memory stick and install on your MacBook from that. That avoids buying a USB cd rom drive. |
