Northeastern Pa | Sprayed headline amp, sticker and insecticide at vegetative tassel this year for the first time. On treated acres the aphids exploded. They were plum in color and you can still see where they were because the stalks are stained purple. Only on sprayed corn Has anyone seen this happen? Seems that the spray killed the beneficial bugs whitch allowed the aphids to explode. Maybe skip the insecticide next time | |
