Subject: Conventonal corn in corn bean rotation for corn borer

Curious in Conventional corn in a corn bean rotation what helps to decrease corn borer later on? Does putting insecticide down when planting and then spraying a insecticide when corn is a foot tall and possibly fungicide help at all? Don't have aerial plane to spray and save me later on. I have my own sprayer so weeds are not the issue just would be nervous about corn borer later on in conventional corn vs traited corn. I know it depends on the year and the pressure but curious what guys are doing with theirs now
