I've been trying to keep an eye on the calves especially watching for bloat from grazing turnips. They seem to be spending a fair part of the day in other pastures so it looks like they should be ok....  My registered bull Z072 seems to be getting around much better after my vet addressed a hoof injury. I guessing he will be ok for next years breeding season. I really like this bull. Maybe the turnips cure hoof injuries??? ;-)

Checked on the yearling group and they had the grass down near the woods so I moved them to try to use up some good growth near the dam. I Snapped a picture of one of my favorite young cows (first calf this past spring) before the move then of the group as they chowed down on the fresh fall growth.
