Medicine Mound,TX | It depends on your climate and soil. We routinely put 150 units out on irrigated cotton. with at 3-4 bale yield goal. It ends up being 200+ with water and soil nitrates. We spoon feed it thought out season with fertigation stopping just before peak bloom. I have never tried side dressing that much. If you miss a pgr application it can get very large. With proper management increased fertility has equated to increased yields on our farms. Only advice would be to try a plot and see what it does. Then add a plot with Higher N and higher pgr. | |
