The only ingredients you will be able to mix and feed in a rissler apron tmr is the corn silage and grain. The hay and balaege will be to long and you will become a pro at putting together the web and pitching the cart out and a used rissler tmr cart is about as good a purchase as a used manure spreader. A big tmr requires a tractor dedicated to it and a loader every time you mix so remember that. I bought one of there new twin vertical tmr cart last summer and it showed up at the end of febuary and it will cut and mix baleage and dry hay and has a nice scale. I feed 72 cows with it and can get about 1100 lbs in it @ 54 % as feed moisture. Cost was 14500. Lot cheaper then a big tmr feed is fresh on both ends of the day instead of sitting in mixer for 12 hours a day and with silos and grain no tractor or skid steer to start and maintain. Might not be the machine for everybody but with everything you need to look beyond the cost of the mixer to all the support equipment. Kinda like how most think bunks are the be all end all but the bunk requires more machinery to fill and feed then us smaller guys can keep up with so silos are still used. Call rissler direct they are nice people to talk to will send you literature and answer any questions. Also a poly feed cart and a pitchfork can feed silage to 40 cows pretty fast. Done that also.
