| I went 4 1/2 yrs and got a ag degree - drank more beer in a year than I do in 5 now (I still drink a lot!) - worked for an outfit that took damn good care of me in hopes of keeping me after I graduated - worked a lot - summers 90-110 hours week during school 40-60 - came out debt free and had 15 or so cows paid for and running stockers (loaned money for them) bought a 3/4 ton Chevy with cattle proceeds and harvest bonus my jr year - no loan on my truck - looking back I learned more working for that outfit than I did at school - college taught me how to get over a hangover and work with little sleep other than that not much - but I wouldn't change a thing - working that much teaches ya to appreciate the small things in life | |
