| Beans are just plain hard to get to 70 bushels for a field average. The only way someone has a good chance of getting over 70 HERE irrigation or not is if the field hasn't had beans in a looonnng time. In my experience a sandy dry land field that has never seen soybeans will usually out yield a irrigated one with great soil. To raise yields we have gain a better understanding of the disease pressures we cant see and find out how to combat them. Easier said then done.
