Anderson County Kansas | We spray a fungicide/insecticide every year the beans will be above insurance. We used to leave check strips we didn't spray but got tired of watching them cost us money so we just statted spraying every acre. On the right year you could easily pick up 5 to 8 bushel. We had a hard time ever getting a field average over 60 here, in 08 the first year we sprayed every bean with fung, insect, we averaged 64 across the whole farm. We had several fields averaged a little better than 70 that year.
