Extreme drought situation here in North Louisiana. No significant rain since July 2nd, coupled with multiple consecutive 100 deg days in July and August. Planted cover wheat behind beans 2 weeks ago, in the dust, and not a sprig, yet. No sign of rain for the next 10 days either. Ponds are just about dry. Dryest that I can remember, and I'm an old Fart.
