WC MN | Rolling stalks should have helped. If you went from full till to no till you will have roughness as soil was too fluffed up from tillage and any traffic would leave a mark. Think about how firm alfalfa fields are when seeded. We have to level coyote, badger, gopher once in a while and going 2 or 3 inches deep doesn't seem to bother. Do tell, how did your beans do relative to similar tilled ground? | |
