Subject: RE: defoliating cotton

East Central Arkansas

We used Aim for several years when we were still raising cotton. We used it for a second shot following Dropp and a light dose of Prep. We were usually putting the boll opening rate of Prep with the Aim. I think I remember using the Aim first of some dryland fields. I did make a pass or two at times first shot on some irrigated fields and it really looked bad for a few days but ended up turning out alright. I wouldn't have wanted to be looking at a whole field of the first shot Aim though.
