Ridgway, IL | At the plants we pull wet distillers from, we can often get distillers syrup for the same price. Lab analysis shows nutritionally they're very similar. We do have to watch sulfur levels closer though.
a buddy and I are working on setting up a pasture feed truck. It's a 3/4 ton Chevy with a flat bed. Has a cake feeder on the front of the bed that we are gonna run soyhulls through, then using a clean Chem tote for a syrup tank with a spout to discharge over top of the soyhulls. We are trying to come up with the proper pump, but haven't got that dialed in yet.
I know it's not the answer to your question exactly, but we had the exact same question as you and this was the answer we come up with. We wanted to feed wet distillers, but without spending some money, we couldn't figure out a good way.
