South West Kansas | Alright guys, I have decided to take the plunge and buy a flex draper. will be used on soybeans, milo, and possible wheat. I am mainly buying it for beans. Our beans are all under pivot irrigation and I am wondering if any has experience out there with a Macon fd 70-75 on sprinkler tracks and how it reacts with its rigid cutter bar compared to deers flexible cutter bar. Which one is better??? I have an S 670 and am looking at a 35' models. the sprinkler tracks make a sharp lil berm on each side of the tire and I am concerned the macdon will not float over a sharp lil berm like that, or if it does float, it will leave beans on either side of the berm. which on is better????
