Wisconsin | His description is misleading, it isn't "dry" air, with low RH. The correct point is, at the same RH, cool air holds less water per volume than warm air.
Only using air cooler than grain temp will work, but drying will be very slow, and probably less efficient overall. This method should not be used on corn grain above 17%. He mentions grain and night air temps around 30F, drying is so slow at those temperatures that it isn't worth running the fans. Very dependent on available air temps.
