Should have added:

1. We liked 30" soys. Not because of the lower white mold incidence, but because they seemed to yield better than other row widths for us. With that said, row widths does make a difference especially in a cleaner till situation.

2. Varieties do make a difference: but thats not an exact science either. Company we grew seed for used us as guinea pigs for mold ratings. Fact is the neighbor was a better indicator of potential mold issues than we were. Depending on the level of residue we were planting into and maintaining.
