We are doing the same thing only we are using a 1000. You do not have to have it controlling anything it just thinks it is. We are going to look at throttle control down the road using the fiq probably.this winters project. Buy a fiq rate and section control module with a sprayer pig tail. Use the flow input to hook up the Krohn to. No need to hook anything else up. Setup is quick and simple and works great. You get as applied mapping. I know you can get a direct hookup for the 1000 but probably cheaper to buy used equip. Email is good if you want help.

Edit: your ifc should tell you what you are putting out for pulses per gallon. We run both ours at 1 pulse per gallon. It's plenty accurate for poo application. Can't state enough how nice it is to run. We also have one hooked up to a tanker as well. Also there are used flow meters for sale all of the time on eBay they are not the raven type but are just fine for what we all do why pay so much to raven.
