How about finding out what is already in the combine ? It might be a complete system and all you need is a the display itself. If that is the case and it already has Ag Leader all you might need would be a 3000 display, or if all you want to do is monitor and see the moisture a YM2000 will do the job on the cheap and give you a taste of having a yield monitor. It would also be easier for your dad to run.
