Half-Century of Progress @ Rantoul, IL, aka; HCOP 2015. What a beautiful opening day for this show. If you missed the opening, or the plowing demos, that's OK....you have 3 more days to get there & be part of history. Plowing was a little tough pulling today. It was better to have one bottom less than you thought the tractor should pull....but we've learned that @ HCOP in past years already. Moisture was good, but dirt was tight. Should be lots more corn picked tomorrow & more plowing to be done. After we plowed this field, they disked it down & we plowed it again!! It's now disked again & ready to be plowed tomorrow. But, with more corn picked, there will also be fresh stalks to plow. Get on over to Rantoul & enjoy the show Fri, Sat, or Sunday. Big tractor pull Friday pm.
