Subject: Alton Bids/Locals

Buxton ND
That would be great Whitey but unless the Dollar/ REAL makes some big changes I don't see it happening.

Alton terminal popped there basis a dime on Tuesday would guess this is general for this big area, a direct response to sales made to Asia. Basis is still -85 which is poor and compared to -.45 last year (Hot China Demand) With our exports lagging WE WANT BEANS in the PNW to load those ships. Yeah that kinda bearish selling beans here but do we really want to risk not having the beans in an exportable postilion and the ship go away empty ? ? ?

I'm waiting for a nickel or dime basis better then there gone and over the mountains, thru the woods to China's house we go. IF those beans dont go west they will go south/south east, not good for local basis or the guys to the south either.
