Whiteshadow, I hear you on the non-gmo crowd's issues. But I'm not sure that us doing nothing on Syngenta's transgressions will mean that we have an easier time dealing with the non-gmo folks. In fact, the more companies like Syngenta put non-approved varieties in the food chain, the more backlash we may face by the public. If the companies are made to pay for jumping the gun, we may have less "starlink" type episodes.

The only thing these big companies understand is their bottom line. They made a decision to put it out into the stream of commerce and were willing to risk doing so before China's approval. We need to make them think twice before they do that again.
