| Most likely the repair was the right thing to do, however, if you are using Outlook to connect to an IMAP account and you are getting huge amounts of spam that has a rule assigned to it to put them somewhere like span this can also cause the problem and the only way to fix it is to log into the webmail interface and set up the rule there so that the Outlook client does not see email move and outlook is not performing the move, then sees another then moves it then sees another then moves it - yada yada - causing a constant sync. | |
