I quit trading with MFA last fall after they raised the dyed diesel price $.55 in one day when everybody else stayed steady. For a few days red diesel was higher than clear here. Well last week I bought dyed fuel from Big River in Hannibal MO for $1.83. I drove by the local MFA station and their price posted on the top of their red pump was $2.10. To add insult to injury the local Shell station has red diesel today for $1.93 while good ole MFA is still at $2.10. What a great way to run a "farmer owned cooperative". MFA should be liquidated and the funds returned to it's owners. That is the only way farmers will get any value from MFA. |
