Hello All

http://www.statcan.gc.ca/daily-quotidien/150820/t001c-eng.htm

I always figured that farmers are their own worst enemy. Supply is short & price goes up. What do farmers do to cure this problem of finally making a decent living? They produce more so that prices fall & then they are more comfortable earning a wage that is below the poverty level,... & then complain about it!!! The exact opposite of what oil & fertilizer companies do. They conveniently close a mine or plant when inventories get too high & their prices are forced down, thus creating their own shortage of supply to drive up their prices & profits to a more comfortable level.
As the old saying goes, I guess, "The cure for high prices is high prices."
Maybe,... just maybe,... this time we learnt our lesson???
