A Green Plains ethanol plant in NC Iowa is buying all the corn.they can now to pile on the ground. Not something they have done before.
They must think it's going up. Otherwise they would stop buying.
idk iif thats the case. The reason for the corn being put in bunkers is the plant is running at half capacity do to an expansion project that isnt due to be done until sept 1st at the earliest. That is all the corn they bough for august needs and is 1 million bushels which is a ten day supply. They are piling it so farmers can deliver their sold bushels.
