Wow that's quite a premium. I sell to a group similar to yours and my premium isn't anywhere near that. But there's no shortage of guys willing to produce as many as they can for the price they offer. No shortage of demand for the pork either, the bottleneck we have is the butcher. They keep expanding but just can't keep up. Might be designed that way to keep supply artificially low, I'm not sure.
The buyers have talked about starting a no antibiotic pasture raised program but the prices they keep talking about still don't come close to yours. I think if they offered prices similar to yours they would be flooded with pigs.
