Local News just announced 70 full time workers would be let go in October from the Grand Island, NE CNH Combine assembly plant.  This follows 130 full time employees that were layed off earlier this year.  The News said combine sales were down 40% this year but did not say if that was industry wide or specific to CNH.

The low commodity prices are going to have a snowball effect imho.  I feel for the employees who are loosing one of the best factory jobs in town right before the holidays.
