| Told him I would like to keep farming it, he told me there are guys paying more (which I'm sure is the truth) and no one else has said a word. My response was I have no interest in planting $8.50 beans on 300 dollar ground and from there the conversation only soured. I'm not hard to get along with and for the past 3 years this farm has been managed by these guys for an investor. I think these farm managers promised big returns and are stressed about maybe not getting it. Although I'm sure someone will pay a lot, still some money left from the good times I guess. | |
