Farmington IL
I have been a cubs fan my entire life. Ive seen some horrible teams and watched them finish last. I saw them in the playoffs in consecutive years. Ive seen them catch lightining in a bottle and make a run one year and then disappear.
This team is different. Very different. This team is young, deep, talented at all aspects of the game and confident. They are managed by one of the best in the game today. Front office and ownership are committed to a long term plan of winning. They have a MVP candidate. 2 rookie of the year contenders. A pitcher in the running for Cy Young. This is the most fun I've had watching baseball since Rod Beck was saving games for the cubs. Since the all star break they have been winning and nothing else. Best record in baseball in August. Best part is, they still have room to improve.
October baseball in wrigley, maybe. Ask yourself this, do you like your teams chances of winning in Wrigley in October?
