North Central Illinois | The Cubs might make the playoffs but in my opinion won't go far. They have a great bunch of young guys and are doing a lot of things right at the moment. I feel like they are just a little too short of pitching and experience to make a run at the big prize this year. If Theo Epstein and his people can keep doing what they have been doing behind the scenes and Joe Maddon can keep motivating these kids like he has been, the Cubs might have a shot in a year of two. I suppose some would say it is more of the same old "wait until next year" talk but I really think things are moving in the right direction. What I would really find amusing is if the Pirates catch the Cardinals down the stretch. That would be hilarious! | |
