We at Back 40 Precision Inc. are announcing production of our RTKonnect ™ WiFi and BlueTooth ® enabled NTRIP client device for delivery of RTK corrections from any NTRIP server/caster to a rover receiver. The RTKonnect is a weatherproof enclosed device integrating a BlueTooth connection for cell phone NTRIP Client App use but also contains an integrated NTRIP Client that functions over WiFi connection and Serial IP for use with non-specialized cellular gateways such as SixNet/Bluetree ® and USRobotics ® mobile modems which support Serial IP functions.
Use the RTKonnect ™ with any WiFi hotspot such as Verizon ® Jetpack devices, your smartphone set up as a shared hotspot, or a WiFi enabled cellular modem.
Easy to see diagnostic LED's provide instant notice of the current connection state. Custom harnessing with common receivers including AgLeader ® 6500, Novatel ® Smart6-L, Trimble ®/CNH Ag 252, 262, 372, and generic 9 pin serial port connections. Additional specialized applications comming soon. We can custom build a harness if needed for an application.
The RTKonnect is an economical solution for delivery of RTK data in the cab without the need for specialized modems and associated data plans. There are no followup costs involved with its purchase or use, ie no subscriptions needed to use it outside of a standard smartphone data plan and getting your RTK data from a provider.
